In 1994 photographer and director George Duroy published Lukas Story, his first own-produced gay hardcore movie. Before this he worked for the American Falcon Studios. "Intimate Friends", the first photobook featuring Bel Ami boys was published by Bruno Gmunder in 1996. Since then many additional Bel Ami volumes followed all of them have been a huge success.
